Protecting your privacy

We may amend this policy from time to time and publish revised versions on our website. That revised version takes effect from the time it is published.

The Indigenous Marathon Foundation (‘IMF’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’ and ‘Foundation’) and IMF entities related are totally committed to protecting your personal information. We collect information by various means, including but not limited to events, IMF Program activities, IMP tryouts, fundraising activities, the IMF website, the IMF RAW Connect App and through the sale of IMF merchandise.

 

 

AGREEMENT
I agree to the following as terms and conditions in applying to the 2022 Indigenous Marathon Project (IMP).  The IMP was established and is delivered by the Indigenous Marathon Foundation Ltd (“IMF”).

I acknowledge that:

  1. The participant agrees that their participation in IMP events including try-outs is voluntary. Additionally, the participant agrees to assume any risk that is associated with participating in events and releases the IMF (and / or their directors, officers, employees, volunteers, contractors, sponsors and / or agents) from any and all claims of damage and loss that may be as a result of participation. The release is without limitation and includes the personal injury, medical fees and any other losses that might occur to the participant.
  2. The participant agrees to hold IMF harmless against all claims of damage and loss.
  3. The participant hereby warrants that they are healthy and able to participate in IMP events including tryouts without any undue risk.
  4. IMF maintains that the right to refuse participation if they foresee that participation would risk damage to any party.
  5. The participant understands that some portions of the IMP tryouts may be delivered virtually and therefore, must take all necessary precautions when planning out the location that it is safe and controlled.
  6. During training for and participation in IMP events and tryouts, the participant acknowledges and accept that they will comply with all Government regulations when it comes to the current situation regarding COVID-19 and understand they may need to take measures to social distance, maintain correct health measures and follow Government issued advice with regards to individual and group activity.
  7. The IMF reserves the right to select participants for the IMP at its discretion, and whilst feedback can be provided, the IMF decision will be final.
  8. The participant consents to the publication and/or use in any form of media whatsoever of their name, result, image, voice, statement or otherwise, including the publication of name and/or result and applicable age bracket in /or marketing materials/website without payment or compensation.
  9. The participant agrees that this waiver agreement shall remain in full force and take effect without change and that participation in IMP is pursuit to the terms of the agreement.

Privacy Declaration:
IMF Ltd collects, uses and discloses personal information for the purposes of conducting and administrating events and other related activities, including for identifying participants, recording results and communicating with you, and for providing you with member services or promotional materials such as other events or IMF or other sponsor offers. IMF collects uses and discloses personal information in accordance with IMF’s privacy policy. IMF may share your information with third parties as required. The IMF Ltd Privacy Policy contains information about how to access and correct personal information held by IMF Ltd or how to make a complaint about the handling of personal information. Applications or services may be rejected if requested information is not provided. Opt-out procedures are available for individuals wishing to avoid receipt of promotional material from third parties.
